Abingdon Craft & Design Show

Steeped in history and legend, the medieval Abbey Buildings provide an ideal setting for this year’s arts, crafts & design show.

Housed in the buildings themselves and in adjoining marquees, this presents an ideal opportunity to purchase something truly unique. With a plethora of the country’s best craft workers displaying a stunning array of traditional and contemporary crafts, you will enjoy finding that special yuletide gift for that very special person.

Many craft workers shall be demonstrating their talents to the discerning visitor.

Enjoy the surroundings and browse at your leisure, order that special commission, discuss with the original maker. On display will be stunning glasswork, art, sculpture, jewellery, woodwork, ladies fashion clothing and accessories… The list goes on and on.

Then rest a while in the now famous Auntie Christine’s Bistro. A facility only available at ACF craft shows. Enjoy the home made gourmet experience of healthy, wholesome food. Wash it all down with fine wines, teas and coffees. (That butternut squash, sweet potato and red onion soup really is delicious!!) As you delight in the organic carrot cake, take in the dulcet tones of our resident pianist as he plays his easy listening style.

Make sure you visit the British Food Mall, where specialist food producers delight in showing their agreeable fare.
